Theresa Chesnut, LCSW

Introduction: Theresa Chesnut (she/her/hers) specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), athletes, performance anxiety, and adolescent / family conflict. Her therapeutic orientation is holistic, strengths-based and grounded in both psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems (IFS) theories.

Professional Experience: Theresa has been in practice for over 15 years, working in residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and private practice. She is dedicated to staying abreast of all current research and best practices. Theresa is a member of Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA). She has served on their Board of Directors as Chair, Past Vice Chair, and Secretary. 

Services Provided: Theresa provides individual therapy for children, teens, & adults as well as consultation services to family members wanting to better support their loved one. In addition to working directly with clients, Theresa offers clinical training and consultation services to professionals. She is particularly skilled in training other professionals on Internal Family Systems Therapy and how to structure the treatment of Eating Disorders.

Megan Bailey Bruce, ACSW 

Introduction: Megan Bruce (she/her/hers) specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, family conflict, and working with parents and caregivers. Her therapeutic orientation is client-centered, strength-based, and culturally respectful. Megan utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in conjunction with Interpersonal and Existential therapies for an approach that is warm, authentic, and effective.

Professional Experience: Megan has experience working with eating disorders in residential, day treatment, and outpatient levels of care. She is passionate about family / caregiver involvement and has experience working with severe mental illness, intimate partner violence, and in general mental healthcare settings. 

Services Provided: Megan provides individual and group therapy for clients ages 0 and up.

Kira Olson, AMFT, APCC 

Introduction: Kira Olson (she/her/hers) specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and family dynamics / conflict. Her therapeutic orientation is holistic, strengths-based and grounded in both cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches.  Kira enjoys integrating expressive therapies including art, music, and movement when appropriate.  She is additionally trained in spiritual interventions for individuals desiring faith-based integration. 

Professional Experience: Kira has worked with a variety of populations, including individuals with eating disorders, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and severe mental illness.  Her experience includes outpatient therapy, transitional age youth programs, school counseling, and home visits.  She most recently has provided individual, group, and family therapy for teens and young adults with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions at a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient setting.  She is passionate about supporting individuals and families with increasing insight and understanding, developing effective coping strategies, and strengthening their relationship with self and others to live fulfilling lives. 

Services Provided: Kira provides individual, group, and family therapy for children ages 8+, teens, & adults.  Kira additionally enjoys offering consultation in terms of level of care needs for eating disorders, and coaching services related to how to support a loved one with an eating disorder.
